Timothy Niecko is the founder and owner of Niecko Health Economics, LLC (2003) and has provided consulting services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries specializing in the areas of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) analytical support for the past 20 years.  Prior to being an independent consultant, Timothy worked for Strategic Outcomes Services, LLC in Research Triangle Park, NC where he gained valuable experience in the field of HEOR across several therapeutic areas.  Mr. Niecko has co-authored several peer-reviewed journal publications and presentations at conferences across several disease areas.  Mr. Niecko’s formal training is in economics and holds a BA with Honors from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, and an MA in Clinical and Administrative Sciences from the University of Georgia - Athens.   

 

Areas of consulting include analysis of various types of health-care related data including clinical trial (both pre and post launch), large administrative claims databases (both commercial and government), health-related quality of life, and patient reported outcomes data using SAS on both large mainframe and PC platforms.  Client projects have also included the development of cost-effectiveness and cost-utility economic models.
